Intro

The Plugin adds a filter for sound sources in OBS Studio. While this filter doesn't directly modulate sound, it allows users to define parameters such as the GoXLR serial number and channel name, determining which GoXLR and channel the plugin syncs to.

Selecting an Audio Source for Synchronization

To activate the synchronization for a audio source, follow these steps:

  1. Access Filter Settings: Locate the sound source in OBS Studio that you want to synchronize with your GoXLR. Right-click on the source and select "Filters" from the context menu.
  2. Add Filter: In the Filters window, click the "+" button to add a new filter.
  3. Select the Fader Sync Filter: From the list of available filters, choose the "Sync volume with GoXLR Channel" filter.

Configuring the Plugin

The plugin requires configuration of two options for each audio source to be synchronized: the "Channel Name" and the "Device Serial".

  • Device Serial: This parameter allows you to specify the GoXLR device you want to synchronize with. You can find your device serial in the GoXLR Utility.

  • Channel Name: The channel name of the GoXLR channel you want to synchronize with.
