Prerequisites

Before installing the OBS GoXLR Fader Sync Plugin, ensure you have the following prerequisites:

  • OBS Studio: Version 30.0 or later.
  • GoXLR Utility: Version 1.0.0 or later.

Please note that while the plugin may work with some older versions of OBS Studio and GoXLR Utility, it was tested and developed with the above versions in mind.

Steps to Install

Follow these steps to install the plugin:

  1. Download the Plugin from the Releases section of the GitHub repository.
  2. Choose the appropriate binary for your operating system (the .dll-File for Windows or the .so-File for Linux).
  3. Copy the downloaded file into the appropriate plugin directory:
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit
    • Linux: ~/.config/obs-studio/plugins
    • You may need to manually create the directory if it doesn't exist.
  4. If OBS Studio is running, restart it to load the newly installed plugin.
