The async behavior of the
init
method of the WebGLBackend has been removed as it breaks loaders such asKTX2Loader
that depends on a webgl context and/or the renderer to be initialized.Took the opportunity to move the texture related methods of the
WebGLBackend
toWebGLTextureUtils
to align with theWebGPUBackend
architecture.Removed the
isGPU
check from thewebgpu_loader_gltf_compressed
