Overview

  • For ease of use, I have added a Dockerfile based on ROS Melodic.

Test System

  • OS: Fedora Workstation 39 (With GNOME 45.2, xorg-x11-server-Xwayland = 23.2.3-1.fc39)
  • Virtualization: Podman (v4.8.1)

Features

  • Completes the installation guide in the original rpg_esim wiki
  • Recommends a means of running where visualizations should work but that remains mostly untested

Useful Follow On Work

  • Create a feature matrix to more readily show what works in the container and (more importantly) what doesn't
  • More thoroughly test visualizations in the container
