When I run make check I get several errors about whitespace. This also needs a regression test. The best way to test this is to add a file to src/test/run-pass that exercises the bug. It can be called issue-3753.rs, and can be tested with make check-stage2-rpass TESTNAME=issue-3753.

And I think .settings/ must be in .gitignore

What is a .settings directory?

Everything but the .gitignore change is merged.

comes from import from eclipse ide for settings and workspace changes in projects. If we added .project in .gitignore we can add .settings/
