Great work @tobie |
Aww, thank you! The true great work's convincing the Board, though. ;) |
We had discussed this in #1055 (comment). This option isn't meaningfully different to the one that we agreed to and proposed. During the CPC call, we agreed to go ahead with the board's proposal. |
Bylaws have been approved. This can be closed and we will run the election in the near future. |
- Introduction of a CPC Vice Chair. - Simplification of the various CPC Director roles by tying the number of CPC Directors to the number of active projects in the Foundation (to match how Silver Directors works), capped so that Member Directors always maintain simple majority. This follows recent [bylaws changes](https://openjsf.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/84/2023/09/OpenJS-Foundation-Bylaws-2023-09-18.pdf). Closes #1054 and #1043 --------- Signed-off-by: Tobie Langel <[email protected]> Co-authored-by: Rich Trott <[email protected]> Co-authored-by: Timmy Willison <[email protected]>

In addition, we also talked about making the number of board seats dependent on the number of projects, so that as the org grows the support for projects can grow.
