Notable changes: This update to the LTS line includes a number of semver minor changes that have been staged for a number of months. What timeframe are you aiming for with this @thealphanerd? We have 5.6.0 queued up and I need to get both 0.10 and 0.12 out ASAP but would rather not bunch releases up too much when they aren't security related. |
We were looking at a 2 week RC cycle given the minors.

In December we announced that we would be doing a minor release in order to get a number of voted on SEMVER-MINOR changes into LTS. Our ability to release this was delayed due to the unforeseen security release v4.3. We are quickly bumping to v4.4 in order to bring you the features that we had committed to releasing. There are a few places where tests repeatedly concatenate strings to themselves in order to make them very long. Using `.repeat()` makes the code clearer. For example, before: for (var i = 0; i < 8; ++i) lots_of_headers += lots_of_headers; After: lots_of_headers = lots_of_headers.repeat(256); Using `.repeat()` makes it clear that the string will be repeated 256 times rather than 8 times. ("What?! That first one doesn't repeat 256 times! It only repeats 8... Oh, wait. Yes, I see your point now.")
