I'm Mickaël BARON, I do research 🕵, create tools 🛠 and write tutorials 📄. I work at the National Engineering School for Mechanics and Aerotechnics (ISAE-ENSMA) as a Research Engineer and I'm a member of the Data and Model Engineering team of the Laboratory of Computer Science and Automatic Control for Systems (LIAS).
I got my PhD degree in computer science at Poitiers University for a ... long time. Previously, I worked at INRIA Rocquencourt into the MERLIN team for designing human computer interaction methods and tools. I worked also in high-tech companies on designing and validating software.
I'm the lead of the software research developments conducted at LIAS ... in two words Mister Software 👨🏼💻. My research topics include: Semantic Data Modeling, Ontology-based Database Design and Query Relaxation Strategies. From 2011 to 2021, I was the team leader of the Java zones (Java, Java Web, Eclipse, Netbeans, Spring and Android) of Developpez.com, the largest French-speaking community of IT professionals.
