In debug builds, rapidly clicking between chanels results in red error screen

Description

In a flutter run --debug build of FluffyChat, if you rapidly click back and forth between different Matrix chat channels, the chat interface is replaced with a red error screen.

To Reproduce

If this issue is describing a bug, include some steps to reproduce the behaviour.

• flutter run --debug
• If not logged in, login to a Matrix account which has joined many chat rooms.
• Repeatedly rapidly click back and forth between 2 or more rooms.
