Added a proposal for instructions how to configure the form section of template demo home page. This is not working yet, so it would be great if author could edit it, and show how to properly set it.

Thanks! Great idea to document this. I am adapting and trying your instructions and realising I need to also provide instructions for how to change the signup template from a hardcoded template to one that uses the form. It's a bit late here to start doing that now! Hopefully will get that done soon :)

I did a really stupid thing the other day with my working version of these changes. I was playing with Docker using a shared directory that seems to have included the only copy of my changes, and deleted it. Damn, I'll need to recreate and I'm pretty busy right now. Sorry!

Four years later (sorry!), I am looking at this quite differently. I'm think I originally misunderstood your purpose.

I think I should make sure the signup form works in the demo and this would affect any setup instructions I provide. So I will wait.
