To support sharing of methylation array data under controlled access our metadata model needs to support the commonly used file extension .idat.

Describe the solution you'd like
IDAT added to the CV of format in the class Research Data File.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Usage of "other" as file format, loss of metadata. Not favorable.
