@thomasrockhu-codecov this works great in github.com. However, there are still issue with the github enterprise. I am not sure now which component does not support github enterprise. The log from github enterprise https://gist.github.com/zetaab/0730ea1f67c0e876bf1a5c4e23e833c2

it says always "repository not found". I think it should somehow pass the information that it should search using github_enterprise and not just github. In old upload path it used https://codecov.company.com/github_enterprise/... url for making commits etc. This might be issue in uploader and/or api itself and not just in github actions.

actually it uses command like /home/runner/_work/_actions/codecov/codecov-action/v4/dist/codecov --enterprise-url https://codecov.company.com create-commit --git-service github -C acbeafac112748f36774c6eba017e0bf18446069

according codecov-cli documentation it should use --git-service github_enterprise in case of github enterprise (https://github.com/codecov/codecov-cli?tab=readme-ov-file#create-commit).

you can automatically detect github.com / github enterprise from github actions environment variables set by github itself. https://docs.github.com/en/actions/learn-github-actions/variables#default-environment-variables you could check env GITHUB_SERVER_URL and if that is https://github.com it should use --git-service github, otherwise github_enterprise. (double check the value that GITHUB_SERVER_URL is returning in github.com).

seems that I can override git service with git_service parameter and it works after that. However, auto detection would be nice
