It makes no sense to filter all the way to zero, that's filtering out all sound. It should start at 100 or 200 Hz.

That is fair. I'll make an adjustment to filter starting at 200Hz.

Initially one could configure the low pass filter to filter everything
above 0 Hz, which is a very boring (and empty) sound. Adjusting the
min value to a more reasonable value, 200 Hz.

A fix has been committed, and this should be resolved in the next release.
