I would very much appreciate an update to @actions/core version 1.2.6 because of:

Update exportVariable and addPath to use environment files

It should get rid of the some of the warnings:

The set-env command is deprecated and will be disabled soon. Please upgrade to using Environment Files.

Is someone going to merge this? There's 6 days left until set-env becomes disabled?

The set-env command is deprecated and will be disabled on November 16th. Please upgrade to using Environment Files. For more information see: https://github.blog/changelog/2020-10-01-github-actions-deprecating-set-env-and-add-path-commands/

Actually, the actions/checkout does not use the core.addPath and core.exportVariable so I do not think this action throws the error message. Maybe, you need to check which action returns the message. See also #383 (comment)
