This directory contains the dotfiles for my system
Ensure you have the following installed on your system
sudo dnf install git
sudo dnf install stow
First, check out the dotfiles repo in your $HOME directory using git
$ git clone https://github.com/YovelB/dotfiles
$ cd dotfiles
then use GNU stow to create symlinks
$ stow .
After installation, you can manage your dotfiles by editing the files in this repository. Any changes made here will be reflected in your system configurations.
Clone TPM (Tmux plugin manager)
$ git clone https://github.com/tmux-plugins/tpm ~/.config/tmux/plugins/tpm
Then run TPM installation command (prefix + I) to install the other plugins
Measure current start time with:
time zsh -i -c exit
output:
zsh -i -c exit 0.07s user 0.06s system 100% cpu 0.131 total
For detailed measurement:
# Uncomment zmodload zsh/zprof at top and zprof at bottom
zsh -i -c exit
