More a mild annoyance than a problem.
Describe the solution you'd like
When I seek a word entry in Wiktionary, I'd like to be able to see its meaning at a glance. I really like Wiktionary more than any other dict. But as it offers more of an encyclopaedia entry for the word instead of a dictionary entry, the navigation gets overly complex.
There could be some optional way of skipping the table of contents, etymology, etc. to get straight to the first actual definition of the word (and maybe go straight to the definition in a pre-selected language, but this kind of QOL feature goes way beyond the scope of what I am suggesting). This can be done when rendering the page, kind of like an adblock element selection.

There's this English Dictionary app which displays cleaner versions of the Wiktionary entries, which is exactly what I wished GoldenDict did.
Wiktionary web has an option to put the table of contents on the right side, like a sidebar, so it gets out of the way:
