Summary

I see that the experimental env config allows you to have default (https://docs.astro.build/en/reference/configuration-reference/#experimentalenv) but it would be nice if we could also have a devDefault where you can specify a default that is only used during development. In production it would not apply and if the field is required, an error would be thrown

Background & Motivation

I was just thinking about how setting a default config value might lead to an unnoticed misconfigured value in production

• Add devDefault in the env config

Workaround is to do default: import.meta.env.DEV && 'value'
