⚠️ FYI: Consider using Govee2MQTT Instead #51

Omg @wez, this is FUCKING AWESOME! This is by far the best integration of any segment LED stripes in HA I have seen. And I have tried many! Honestly... I had, an horrible workaround via homebridge in an container to make it work, but this one, is crazy good! |
Damned, I was waiting for something to happen after trying it out, but nothing happened, or rather it had happened without me noticing it, and having to to do anything??? That is AWESOME! |
I'll shift over to Govee2MQTT, but question first - I see that when I turn on a light using this repo's integration, CPU usage spikes by about 15% and stays there, it does not come back down. Does the new integration address that? |
I dont see any problems like that, and I've been using it since then |
If you are here to ask for support or a new feature, then please note that I've shifted my development focus to my Govee2MQTT AddOn. That has support for new APIs and devices, and functions like DIY Scenes, Music Modes and One-Click scenes.
It is more flexible than the govee-lan-hass integration and easier for me to support, so I will be spending most of my govee related engineering efforts there, rather than here.

❗ Note that due to how Govee's LAN API works, you cannot run both the addon and the integration at the same time.
