Subject: [PATCH] Stop using twisted.internet.defer.returnValue

`defer.returnValue` was only needed in Python 2; in Python 3, a simple
`return` is fine.

`twisted.internet.defer.returnValue` is deprecated as of Twisted 24.7.0.
