I cannot find a translation for this expression in any dictionary. Perhaps it can be replaced by an easier to understand expression?

The term "curated" is self-explanatory; if not, it represents all the contributors who curate collections (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curator) of some sort. Here, information about Julia packages.
The term "decibans" is from, ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartley_(unit), it was meant to see how much information I could collect for a new scientific language like Julia (and similarly scientific Python).

Julia grew tremendously over the decade (almost) of its existence so if you have an expression that can encompass groups of people collecting information in an open manner, please suggest it. Thanks.

Two years late, my slightly qualified opinion, I love the ethos of decibands, and i've been using the term infoton for something similar
