I have been laid off my 9-5. I have failed to secure my family in the short ~4 months I had developing Ptah.sh.

Hey,

I'm Bohdan (follow me on X), 33 yo. Father and Husband. Born in Moldova (Transdnistria), family had to move to Ukraine, and now I had to move to Poland and currently live in Warsaw.

I have been serving as a software engineer many companies throughout my more than 10 years of career.

That was a wonderful time: I have met my best friend there, spoke to enormous amount of smart people, participated and created various events.

Each time I have been pouring my soul into the products I make or the events I create. Each time, until I have got into an extremely toxic company where I got a depression and I have got burned out.

This is the breaking point when I have decided that from now on I should be the only one who is in charge of my mood and the future.

This event, and couple years of developing my first startup (pretty successful) lead to creation of ptah.sh - the self-hostable software that will help you to manage the fleet of your services. Extremely agile, with almost no limitations and the backlog containing hundreds of features which will lead the self-hosting to the new heights.

Also, I have been always enjoying working with open-sourced software and I really want to make a good contribution back to the community.
