I am the maintainer of the ZXing-C++ project, an open-source, multi-format linear/matrix barcode image processing library implemented in C++.

The code was originally ported from the venerable ZXing Java library by @huycn. I started contributing in 2017 with a new DataMatrix detector. Since then I spend many man-months in total improving the API, the feature set, the detection success rate and the runtime performance of pretty much the whole library, re-implementing a considerable part of it.

I'm a self-employed software engineer, working on this project in my 'free' time, not currently profiting from it in any way. I would appreciate if you would sponsor me, especially if you are making money based in part on this work yourself. (I recently became aware of what commercial vendors are charging for their proprietary barcode scanning solutions... 😲).
