File Drag & Drop fields forget / ignore the asset volume set on field creation

Describe the bug or issue you're experiencing
When you create a File Drag / Drop field type, then add it to the form builder, the Volume where it should upload files to is not the same as the one you set when creating the field.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to Fields
2. Create a File Drag & Drop field type and choose an asset source ("Files") here:

3. Add that field to a form builder
4. The asset volume is not the one I selected earlier

Expected behavior
The field should use the asset volume you set when the field is created

Craft & Plugin Info (please complete the following information):

• Craft Version: 4.2.1.1
• Freeform Version: 4.0.0
• Freeform Edition: Pro
• Fresh Install or Upgrade: Both

Thanks for reporting this @darylknight. I believe I encountered this once long ago, but I am unable to duplicate the issue right now. I'm not sure why this might be happening. Does it make any difference if you try resaving the file upload field inside the field manager area? Are you able to reliably reproduce this if you create a brand new File Upload / Drag and Drop File Upload field in the field manager and try adding it to another form? 🙂

Once I've added the field to the form, I then need to select it, and choose again where it should upload assets to. After that, it sticks. But the first time I add them to the form, they do not upload to the same volume as I chose when I created the field. Would you like a composer / database backup to test with this site?

Testing again - I just created another new field:

Then, add that field to a form I've never added upload fields to before:

It looks like if I select the first asset volume on the list, then add it to the form, it is also still the first one on the list. But if I select an asset volume, say, third on the list, then the one selected when I add it to a form is completely random, and not the one I chose.

This is still a problem, but the GH issue has been locked. A client just created a new form using a field where I'd set the default upload location to "Form Submissions" volume.
They added the field to a new form, and it's uploading their assets to "Product Images" by default.
