First off, have used PWAbuilder.com for a few months now and it's easily the simplest way I have found to package up my PWA for Google Play.
But after doing quite a few releases, it is quite tedious to keep reentering most of the same info each time to the form, check the box to including Google Billing, select keystore file, add in passwords, etc.
I appreciate a full account system would be rather time consuming to implement, but perhaps the offering a choice of saving most details to local storage / cookies would be simpler and would achieve largely the same goal? It would not require database capacity or extra storage at the web server side, as all details would be stored on the user's computer. And it would probably be simpler to implement (at least judging by my own experience of coding web apps). It would mean the profile saved was only accessible on the machine I used to package the app, but it's still a lot better than no ability to save the data at all.
