Problem with iCal file and recurring events

I add an event via iCal file to my calendar, but when I download the iCal file of a recuring event(s), the original event gets updated (moved to the new date) instead.

There should be a unique iCal file for each recuring event or the iCal file should contain all the recuring events as well.
