When you go to upload content, you should be able to have your own specified server (Asset server / Nextcloud / Other HTTP service ) handle and store that uploaded content as opposed to forcing the domain you are connected to. This can be handled by using the Edit.js / Editor.js application to spawn out the relevant file / model upon successful upload.
