api-osmosis-chain.imperator.co seems to be down (DNS status NXDOMAIN)

I noticed because I had trouble using staketax, so I tried it locally, and still had problems. I traced it to the use of this endpoint.

I looked in the docs, and it looks like it's supported.

I asked in discord; I was told "This was a custom API that's since been discontinued."
I asked for a reference to some sort of discontinuation notice; the person who was chatting with me wasn't aware of any.
Is it discontinued? If so, please update the docs... especially if there's a newer alternative.
