governance: Add new Collaborators (round 2) #680
Comments
Cool, poll closed. This Friday (2015-02-06) at 9AM PST I'll be hosting an onboarding for the following people: I'll send an email containing the hangout link and a feedback form link to your github email address before the meeting. This will be a slightly larger group, but I will aim to go through the onboarding in ~40 minutes, with time for questions. If you have any questions before hand, feel free to email me at christopher.s.dickinson at gmail dot com. Thanks all! |

+1 to that |
@chrisdickinson what's the status of this right now, since we didn't have an update from a meeting this week? |
@Fishrock123 It happened! We had a few folks not show up, though so it ended up that only |
I'm starting a second issue to replace #234 because we've already done one intake and @chrisdickinson is organising a second intake but I think the original issue has become a bit too noisy to get the attention of those who have been invited.
We'd love for any of the people listed below to join us on this whacky adventure. Chris has been working on a very simple on-boarding process conducted via Google Hangouts. It's just to make sure that everyone has all of their questions answered and we are all on the same page. It's not a onerous process and is mainly a chance for discussion although Chris does have a spiel about some governance and technical things (mainly git I think).
If any of you would like to hop on the io.js train, please go to https://doodle.com/geyp2bfzru2vyvt4 and put your name in and tick any of the times that suit you, the times displayed should be for your local timezone so no translation necessary.
After this round we'll probably do another process of collecting names of people that have made significant contributions since #234, which is now a month old. The aim is to get better and faster at this, it's just this initial phase that's slow since we're still figuring it out.
