MSI Installer sets path incorrectly

After installing node.js 0.10.22 x64 on newly installed windows 8.1 workstation

During installation the options to automatically Add node.js to the path were selected.

C:\Users\Darrel O'Pry\AppData\Roaming\npm was added to the path.
Node was installed to C:\Program Files\nodejs

I expect either
node to be installed in C:\Users\Darrel O'Pry\AppData\Roaming\npm

• OR *
  the path to include C:\Program Files\nodej
