Static Media Failure

Been digging around for a solution for a while now. Would love some help.
There seems to be a port issue with ngnix and i can't resolve it, I think?

Python version
3.8.10

OS
Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS

Steps to Reproduce:
Web page was working:
Rebooted server

Expected Behavior
See login page.

Observed Behavior
Page not loading

 Static Media Failure
The following static media file failed to load: [netbox-print.css](https://netbox.myFQDN.here/netbox/static/netbox-print.css)

Check the following:

    manage.py collectstatic was run during the most recent upgrade. This installs the most recent iteration of each static file into the static root path.
    The HTTP service (e.g. nginx or Apache) is configured to serve files from the STATIC_ROOT path. Refer to [the installation documentation](https://netbox.readthedocs.io/en/stable/installation/) for further guidance.
        STATIC_URL: /netbox/static/
    The file netbox-print.css exists in the static root directory and is readable by the HTTP process.

I also suffer from this problem, but only when I run the service via the *.service files in contrib with systemd.
When I start the dev http service manually it works flawlessly.

My reverse proxy does not run on the netbox host This is a weird situation.

I just got fed up after weeks of trying to figure out what when wrong.
I ended up rebuilding my server, It wasn't far along.

I did notice that my time zones played a factor.
After my rebuild about a week in I changed the time zone and started getting this issue again.
My time zone issue was out because I didn't set the local system clock.

Sorry can't help more than that.

Don't try and navigate to to https://localhost:8001 in your web browser. The basic Netbox installation configures the web server (nginx or apache2) to listen on TCP port 443 (https). So, we want to navigate to https://localhost to see the Netbox home page.

Now, in Ubuntu, when we install apache2 or nginx, it creates the default directories (/var/www/html) and puts a default index.html file in there so we can see that Apache (or nginx) is working.

So, in order to see the Netbox home page, we need to delete or rename the /var/www/html/index.html file.
To delete it:
$ sudo rm /var/www/html/index.html
To rename it:
$ sudo mv /var/www/html/index.html /var/www/html/index.bak
