I'm looking to get this compiled with a more recent version of NTL. I'm also looking to get it to compile for an x86 emulator and an armeabi-v7a, but I can't get past setup1. Any tips for getting up and running?

I'm not maintaining/supporting this. You can probably check my commits and patch file patch-5.5.2.patch to see what kind of changes were necessary and try to fix your problems in similar way.
