Currently

Removing a track form auto dj requires users to right-click and select "Remove" from the contextual menu.

Expected

Would be nice to have a keyboard short cut for this so tracks can be easily removed without having to resort to the mouse / trackpad. For macOS cmd+backspace would be the expected shortcut.

Why not just using the del key?
This is the way it is implemented in:
https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/tree/jmigual-library-redesign

It this is a case, this is a duplicate from:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/1227676
.

Isn't the key with the <- arrow above the enter key the "backspace" key? Other keyboard layouts call it "Delete" key. Pressing that key does not remove a track form the auto dj tracklist.

Ah, I see. Apple has replaced the del key with cmd+backspace on compact keyboards.

I guess this is delivered as "del" key into Mixxx. We have to check.
Can you, append https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/1227676
Accordingly?

@daniel, what do you mean with "append" in this case? https://bugs.launchpad.net/mixxx/+bug/1227676 was referring to a linux setup. so keeping both bugs would make sense as a fix for macOS may not fix the linux problem and vice versa, right?

Yes, I am afraid that this bug will only get fixed halve way if we have two.
To see the whole picture at once prefere to have one bug.
Alternative we can crosslink them.
What do you think?

Sure, crosslinking sounds sane. I have no idea how to do that on launchpad other than mentioning the bug which I have now done on #1227676

Del key doesn't work for me in mixxx 2.4.0 alpha on Win 7 x64. Other hotkeys are working fine.
