Can you show me what happens if your magewell card is plugged in? Does it add a single layer with drop down options or a layer per option like your webcam?

so that works well! do you have a webcam laying around? Maybe its just apple's way of presenting its camera as a bunch of single mode cameras...

cam.start();
fucks up on Mac
when trying to import capture devices output

Hi!!!
So I realize this issue may not be a priority.
However, for those of us who do not operate on Linux but on Mac,
this error does not allow us to capture other inputs from other programmes...
Which would be really neat and handy for mixing software from within FreeLiner!

Seems like there is two issues here, macbook webcams being listed as many different devices and some issue with cam.start(); can you create a new issue for this? Can you provide more details then "fucks up on a Mac'?
