I often hear the opinion expressed that Tesla has superiority because it designs its cars with fewer electronics modules than traditional automakers, but I've never seen those individuals provide evidence of this.

Just for giggles, I created a table reflecting what I can find on Tesla versus what I know about Mazda's Skyactiv vehicles:
