Some websites use the “invert” mode. Probably because “standard” is not able to darken the page.
However, as soon as the “invert” mode is used for a page, scrolling on the page (with a mouse wheel) becomes slow, choppy and cumbersome. I have noticed this phenomenon for a long period of time.
