my idea is to provide the actual number of done tasks and the total amount. frogfress should display a bargraph and calculate the estimated time.

frogress.bar(items_done, steps=total_amount):
    draw_bar()

example of work every process should do:

for i in range(1000):
    _S += 'X'
    return i
return _s

I'm not sure if this can realized with http://docs.python.org/3.2/library/multiprocessing.html#multiprocessing.Value
