Could not connect to LiveReload server #12

I'm using the Chrome Extension on Linux (Fedora 17) and guard-livereload.
It worked before but now has stopped.

The chrome tool auto update seems to have forced connections to the 2.3 version server where as guard-livereload is only 1.6
This is a big annoyance.
