There are steps skipped conditionally when:

  • given plan is driven by KIM only
  • given instance is driven by KIM only

When all plans are driven by KIM only (all new created plus all migrated) remove obsolete steps or obsolete logic.

  • simplify CreateRuntimeResource
  • remove CheckGardenerCluster
  • remove SyncGardenerCluster
  • remove CreateRuntimeWithoutKymaStep
  • remove GetKubeconfigStep
  • check others
  • remove obsolete steps in deprovisioning
  • check update steps to remove provisioner calls and fail (log/alert) when Runtime CR does not exist.
