When using the registration view and a taken username is put in (for matrix.org, haven't tested others) no feedback is shown. In fact the Sign up button can be triggered and strangely enough the feedback from the matrix.org page is that it worked. Logging in does not work though. (Might be the reason why it was reported that logging in does not work in this issue: #815 )
To Reproduce
Go to the registration view
Enter a taken username for matrix.org and enter all the other required fields as well
Trigger Sign up button
Try logging in
Additional information:
Device: Pocophone F1
OS and OS version: Android 10
Installed version of FluffyChat: 1.2
(Android only) Which store are you using: Play Store
(Android only) Are Google Services available: Yes
Happens on the web version as well, tested just now.
Thanks for the app :-) I'm a bit worried that some people want to use it, try to register with a taken username, and it won't work. Looks good otherwise. My only other big gripe is that there are no message drafts (#10 ). I'd say most users expect their text to stay.
Happy hacking!
