When someone responds to your story, the response contains just "Story on 16.00" in the responder timezone and location. For getting context to the reply, this requires opening own story and and finding the story sent at that time.

Additional confusion is that you have to know the responders timezones and the timezone offset to yours to figure out what story they actually replied to.
