Description

If you open a Matrix chat, and scroll up until you find a message in reply to an unloaded message, and tap the message being replied to, FluffyChat hangs.

To Reproduce

  • Find a long-running chat group.
  • Scroll up until you see "Load more..." and a message in reply to a parent not visible until you click "Load more".
  • Before the parent message loads, click the reply child's inset quote of the parent message, to jump to the parent message.

Additional information:

  • Device: Pixel 4a, PC
  • OS and OS version: Android 11, Arch Linux
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 0.35.0, Git main
  • (Android only) Which store are you using: F-Droid
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available: Yes
