failed to install addon from zip kodi-connect

I get this when installing from a zip? Im running the latest libreElec on a Ras Pi.

I get the same message, running kodi in ubuntu 16.04.

Nevermind, I was downloading it on my phone then ftp-ing to my server. When I downloaded it straight to my server it worked.

I'm having this issue on multiple fire sticks, one a brand new fresh install of 17.6.

And where are you downloading the zip files from?

Are you downloading the zip files from the Dropbox?

have downloaded https://www.dropbox.com/s/e6m5e9hunsihbi3/plugin.video.kodiconnect-0.1.22.zip?dl=1, this works for installing
then i configured the setting(email, secret key) , but get always: connecting, disconnecting, connecting, disc......

I put it on FTP too but it did not work for me, maybe reinstalling it might work

@Moko0815 connect/disconnect is usually caused by incorrect credentials in the addon
