Hey friends,
Just FYI, @detrohutt has offered to help organize these questions with more helpful labels. I think that's awesome! Thanks AJ! If you'd like to help out, write in here and I'll give you access :D Thanks!

I'm helping answer some of the basic ones that could be answered by other developers besides you. Suggestion: Create a template for creating issues that recommends people ask on Reactiflux, Reddit, etc. first.

That's a great idea! I'll do that 👌

Hey @kentcdodds,

Questions asked here are quite awesome why don't you move this to spectrum to make it more community-based.

This is a space for people to ask me questions. If someone wants to ask general questions to the community then there are communities for that. I don't see much reason to move this to spectrum.

@kentcdodds Would you mind if I plugged another repo where I can answer some of the questions that you most likely won't get around to? Or maybe I could answer it here, then point people to the repo? I'm enjoying answering people's questions, but it feels weird answering them in your ama.

I can also help label some of the issues here if you wanna add me.

I think I'd rather direct people to answer general questions that anyone can answer to a community like Stack Overflow or Reactiflux.

We could have a standard: "Hey by the way, Kent may not get to this question and you'll probably get a faster and probably better response by asking on _______." We could paste that to any questions that are general and don't require my specific answer. What do you think?

By the way, thanks for all your help :)

@kentcdodds don’t forget to add @hedgerh so he can help out with labeling like he mentioned :)

Sounds good. I'll still try to answer ones that aren't really basic, then mention some communities they can check out.

Hey, checking in on the issues. Wanted to discuss labels with you two.

What is the current situation with labels? Sometimes, questions don't quite fit the current labels. Do I add more in that situation? There's currently a question about react elements/virtual DOM. it's more conceptual, so idk if that falls under code-help. I'm not 100% sure what qualifies as help-wanted, either.

@kentcdodds I was thinking, when you go over an issue, maybe you could add the label that you'd want it to have? So when you add a label like audio-answer, also add a label like code-help. That way, I can get a sense of how you'd like things to be labelled.

Idk, just let me know what I can do to help organize things for you 😃

Thanks @hedgerh. I'm not too particular about labels. We don't have to organize things super well or anything. Not all questions need a label I think, but if you can think of general categories that suit multiple issues then feel free to create labels for them :) Thanks for all you do!
