- Flat-rate basals are terminated after five days.
- To calculate percentages for temp basals, you need to know the active basal schedule at the time. It's not enough to look at the previous or next basal, as those may be zero/suspended. The Animas data model does not tell us which scheduled basal is being suppressed, and also does not provide a history of active basal schedules.
- A basal is categorized as suspended basal if its rate is zero and its start falls within a suspend/resume event. As only the 30 most recent suspend/resume events are stored, we can't be sure if older basals with zero rate are suspends or not.
- As the device needs to be suspended before uploading, we always have the final (most recent) basal and its duration.
