Move logstash-filter-opensearch into the OpenSearch organization #1
Comments
More than happy to move it over. My Ruby skills are not really the best so I can probably only offer limited assistance with maintaining the project but happy to help where I can! Let me know what I need to do. Presumably you'd like me to transfer the ruby gem too? |
I need to find an additional owner at AMZN for this repo before we move it. Working on it. |
ack/ I got this. |
@anirudha What are the next steps to have this filter plug-in brought under the official OpenSearch repo? |
Sorry we dropped this ball. I haven't seen much appetite to maintain this plugin within opensearch-project at the moment :( |
Coming from opensearch-project/opensearch-clients#4 (comment), @jgough proposed we move this project to the OpenSearch organization and help maintain it from there.
Pros: discoverability, cons: it does come with oversight at org-level
@jgough are you sure you want to do this? will you continue maintaining this project either way?
