How can I use

function myName () {}

in CS? Using a function name is an easier way to recognize a closure in a backtrace.

See the Functions section in the FAQ, in the wiki. An IE bug prevents us from using this.

Have Iwe considered allowing plain declaration (function f(){}), which doesn't suffer JScript bug? The FAQ entry doesn't talk about it.

I suppose. It would only work for single normal assignments, though.

Of course I know about plain declaration but I try to avoid it whenever possible.

So you write var f = function f(){...}; for inline functions? Isn't it tedious?

Did anything come of this plain declaration idea? I am interested.
