lsleases helps you to find dynamic assigned ip addresses from any devices in your local network.
I provide two packages for windows:
- installable service
- standalone zip archive
This package installs a service which captures ‘DHCP request’ broadcast datagrams in the background. To list captured leases, go to ‘Start / Programms / lsleases / list-leases’.
The webui is by default only from your local machine reachable at: http://localhost:9999. If the webui should be also reachable from other hosts or on a different port, open cmd in the lsleases directory and execute
nssm.exe set lsleases AppParameters "-webui -webui-addr :9999"
.nssm.exe restart lsleases
This package contains a version of lsleases which does not run in the background, does not cache captured leases and does not include a webui.
After unpacking, execute ‘capture-leases.bat’. This starts the leases sniffer, and displays all captured leases.
Note: You need to permit lsleases network access so it can capture ‘DHCP request’ datagrams.
