Hi, no worries, sometimes it's hard to explain things for all audiences. The "Visual Studio Installer" thing is required if someone wants to build DarkThumbs from scratch, from source. It's not needed to install DarkThumbs for the average user. So you want to go to the 'Releases' page and download the .msi file. Once downloaded, navigate in File Explorer to where the download was stored (probably the 'Downloads' folder), select the .msi file, then hit Enter (or right-click to get a menu, then select 'Open'). The installer should run: I hope this helps! |

Hi,
I've written basically everything in the question itself. I don't know how to install this thing. I DID install the dark-knight version a couple of years back, while on win 10 (and I think I had some explorer issues after that) and now I'm on win 11 and I don't have a clue what to do. You've mentioned: Requires the Microsoft "Visual Studio Installer" extension to build the setup projects - and basically, what I need to know is if I need to install this, in order to be able to run the set up for darkthumbs and if yes - which option to choose because there's a bunch of them. :)
Thanks!
