Preview doesn't render in Flatpak: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module"

Issue

The preview doesn't render even with a freshly installed Flatpak version.

I expect the Flatpak distribution works out of the box and contains all required modules.

Notes

Running from console reveals a missing module and errors about not being able to construct a framebuffer.

During installation from the software manager (in Linux Mint), the following popup also appeared:

Can't remove org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/45, it is needed for: com.github.fabiocolacio.marker, net.lutris.Lutris

It still installed though, but this could be related.
