I followed every step from the manual installation but step 3 didn't worked (Start Nodepad++. You should see Plugins > Emmet menu item.) I can't see Emmet in the plugin menu item.

From my experience:

  1. It doesn't work in a 64-bit version, use the 32-bit version instead
  2. You have to install PythonScript first (available in package admin)
  3. If it still doesn't work, try putting EmmetNpp.dll into the EmmetNpp folder

@ArtyIF thank you for your post. Your experience has drawn me to the same conclusion that at the moment Emmet plugin doesn't work with NPP 64-bit. I have NPP 64-bit v.7.9.1 and Emmet plugin is not on plugin manager list. While installing manually, if Python Script Plugin is installed first, and Emmet plugin unzipped to NPP plugins folder, it doesn't work unless EmmetNPP.dll is moved inside EmmetNPP folder, however, when moved and NPP is started, dialog pops up "Cannot load 32-bit plugin. EmmetNPP.dll is not compatible with the current version of Notepad ++".
